My husband and I knew we wanted to re-do our living room and remove the fireplace but were not sure where to begin. Ariana brought several great ideas with diagrams and pictures that helped us visualize the designs and select the one we liked the best. In addition to removing the fireplace and turning that space into a built-in entertainment center, we replaced the carpet with wood floors, bought new living room furniture and added the custom floating shelves Ariana designed. The only issue we had was a cost overrun with the builder, but in the end, Ariana's design was exactly what we wanted and we were very pleased.

Ariana was wonderful! I got lucky when I hired her. She came out, asked me about my preferences and looked at everything. Ultimately she oversaw complete repainting and color choices for the whole house, lots of new furniture (I despise furniture shopping), new carpet, accessories, and gave me lots of ideas for the future. When we first met with Ariana she did a full tour/overview of our house and listened to our wish list and needs. She focused in on the things that would make a big impact and give us the most bang for our buck - also taking in to consideration our budget, timeline and needs of our family.
We decided to do a kitchen remodel and we couldn't have done it without her! She came up with a few design concepts and sample materials for us to narrow down. She really has a great sense of how things will go together and make design flow from room to room.

When I decided to renovate the Master Bedroom and Bathroom, working with Ariana and seeing it come to fruition has been the best part of the year. We set a plan, a budget, and made my goal of having both rooms renovated actually happen.
Ariana also listened to me and used my favorite color in a cherished print to become the inspiration color for both rooms. She made sure to incorporate antique pieces passed down to me as well as use newer contemporary pieces, giving a nice mix of traditional and modern that expresses me in my room.
During the actual renovation process, Ariana made sure everything happened as expected and quickly dealt with unforeseen issues. I never once doubted that the renovation would not get completed or even see a long delay. She took care of all the details.
It's still a shock to see the before pictures, yet still a thrill to walk in every day and see both rooms shown in an updated version.

I am buying my first house on plan and had a 3 weeks time frame to pick all the options from the front door knob to the kitchen cabinet color and hardware. I was feeling completely overwhelmed by all the possibility and was nervous about picking a bad combination of colors and texture I would have to live with for a long time.
Ariana made it happen! She worked her schedule so that I could be ready for my final and unique appointment at the builder's design center.
I had sent her some pictures I liked and she came up with great, creative, modern propositions. She also gave me great advice on things that were worth or not taking with the builder.
After two 2h session at the design center, I was ready for my appointment with the file Ariana had put together for me with the details and pictures.
This was a wonderful experience and I really look forward working with her again once the house is built. It was really worth it.

Ariana Anderson is a very talented designer, who is comfortable with listening to her client's ideas and then making suggestions that are just spot-on. Since I live in Houston, scheduling was important to me. She never let me down We did a lot of conference calls and her communication skills are terrific. Her enthusiastic personality is infectious and I will really miss her, since my project is coming to a close. I had spoken with other decorators about window treatments and still was not sure of what I wanted. One meeting with Ariana and she came up with the perfect idea. Needed some blackout curtains installed (large bedroom window) and got a $700 quote for a single room from somewhere else. Interior Designs provided a very attractive solution at little more than half that price. They even returned to fix a minor cosmetic issue at no cost to me. I'm very happy with my new curtains and would definitely recommend Ariana to my friends for future work or use Interior Devotion again for another project.
